Interface Status Details

Interface Status Details Page

You can confirm if a result was sent to the EMR by selecting the study on your Study List and opening the side Info Panel. Scroll towards the bottom of the panel and select the Interface Status Details link.

If the status is "success", it means that the examination was successfully sent to the EMR system

If the status is "failed," it means the examination was not sent to the EMR or some other problem occurred. You can click the "Resend to EMR" button in the page to send the result document or HL7 message again.

Failures are usually because the Patient record was not found in the EMR.

Patient IDs can also be corrected using the Tricefy interface (resend the study after the ID is fixed).

  • Fail: The exam was not sent to EMR
    • Clicking Fail in the Interface Status column will display all pertinent information, including the error message, as explained above
  • No Status: The exam result was not sent to the EMR (yet) or the automation rule has not triggered
